Student-run Ministry
Alongside the staff team, we serve in various capacities of leadership to bring Cru to life on campus! Whether it’s leading a community group, serving administratively, or participating in one or more of the following ministry teams represented below, we’d love to see you use the gifts God has given you to serve others. community
One of our newest ministry teams, the community team seeks to develop Christ-centered community in all we do. As a result, this team hosts events, takes charge of greeting and afters for the weekly meeting, and constantly watches for opportunities where we can show love to one another.
media
From graphic design to photography, the weekly email and more, this team leads in communication. They share about who God is through social media, produce promo material for local and regional Cru events, and tell the faith stories of students on campus through film.
OutReach
We love to engage in spiritual conversations on campus. It is always interesting to hear what others believe about God and how those beliefs are formed. This team takes the lead in initiating conversations and teaching others how to share their faith.
prayer
Prayer is the means by which our desires, plans, and attitudes align with Gods. The prayer team helps our ministry to remain focused on Christ in all we do. They host a Friday prayer gathering where they teach different approaches to prayer and pray for our campus and the world.
Weekly Meeting
Working both on stage and behind the scenes, this team strategically plans and executes our large-group gathering. They collaborate with the Emcees, speakers, and other ministry teams to make Thursday night's run smoothly and efficiently.
Music
True worship means valuing God above all things. This team serves to bring God to the forefront during our weekly meeting by playing music that highlights Gods glory in lyrical song. Through music, we are reminded of the attributes of God and how worthy He is to be praised.
